This is a mockup for a part of a presentation during the WSL Dialog. I shows in a animated video (click on the link here) the time series of atmospheric parameters (air temperature and precipitation), growth and tree water deficit of two trees (spruce and beech), the 18O isotopic signatures, soil moisture for two depths and an animated depth indicator within the soil, showing from the the beech tree takes up the water. This last part has been calculated in a simplified two-membrane mixing model. These continuous measurements are at the pioneering stage of outdoor isotopic signature measurements in realtime and have been conducted by Prof. Arthur Gessler and team. Should you have any questions (the video doesn't have sound), please do not hesitate to contact me.
